Members of the Mary Webb Society have generously donated towards the purchase of Bergam Wood by Natural England. Work is well under way to clear the area of conifers before restoring it to native woodland. The handsome plaque will be fixed to the gate and we are proud to see our society’s name in the list of donors.

This area is closely associated with the works of Mary Webb and we are happy to support this project. Follow their progress on Facebook (Stiperstones National Nature Reserve).

    Hello Bryan,
    Thanks for your message. I presume you mean the plaque at Much Wenlock, sometimes it gets a bit overgrown by the yew.I hope it was looking nice.
