The Mary Webb Society

We are delighted to be able to hold our first face to face  event since our Christmas Lunch in 2019. It’s been too long! We will be returning to our old favourite place, St Laurences’s Parish Centre in the beautiful historic town of Church Stretton. It will be a joy to catch up with old friends and new and we hope that this will be the start of the resumption of our usual programme of events.

12.15 –  2.00                  Own arrangements for lunch in town or bring packed lunch and stay in the hall

Satire and Prophecy in The House in Dormer Forest

Members are invited to read a short piece of their choice from the novel

4.00        Tea/coffee to end the day

The hall have not imposed any restrictions on numbers and mask wearing will be optional. The kitchen will be open for us to prepare drinks. We are really looking forward to welcoming you back to Church Stretton.
