The Mary Webb Society

What a pleasure to take part in The Snailbeach & Stiperstones Beach Party Event on Saturday 8th July. Thanks to the organisers, particularly Rachel North who organised the poetry and painting competitions from Stiperstones School. There was a tremendous response from the children with such delightful creative entries, making it very difficult for us to judge. This was the highlight for us to have such enthusiasm from local children
Thanks also to all the lovely people who visited our marquee to share memories of the film, ask for more information or to buy books and CDS. All this and glorious sunshine too, oh and a cheeky glass of Prosecco!

A fabulous day out for all the family in this landscape so indicative of the works of Mary Webb.
