Theatre Severn are showing Gone to Earth on Friday 11th September at 7.00pm and Saturday 12th September at 2.30 and 7.00pm. This timeless classic adaptation of Mary Webb’s novel filmed in Shropshire in 1949 is still fondly remembered today by locals whose family members appeared as extras. The landscape is as big a star as Jennifer Jones, David Farrer and Cyril Cusack.
