The Mary Webb Society

The bronze bust of Mary Webb created by sculptor, Jemma Pearson and unveiled in 2016 in the gardens of Shrewsbury library was in need of a “wash and brush up.” Sue Higginbotham and Liz Stamps set to  work applying a proprietary bronze cleaning product recommended by the foundry, Castle Fine Arts Foundry, Llanrhaedr-ym-Mochnant. Mary is now gleaming in the sunshine. The stonework needs a bit more work but should soon be looking cleaner but acceptably weathered.
